The MD Plus program is a new training opportunity for students who are accepted into the Texas A&M Health Science Center (TAMHSC) College of Medicine and are interested in pursuing an additional degree along with their M.D. program. Students in the MD Plus program have the option of pursuing Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomedical Science or Education of Healthcare Professional, a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.), or an M.B.A. This program provides medical students with several career advantages, including a competitive edge for residency programs, enhanced opportunities for an academic career, and enhanced knowledge and research tools for their medical career.
