Organized within the Research Expertise and Methods Component of CSTR, the Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design (BERD) Section provides individually-tailored expert advice and guidance in research methodology to investigators planning or executing cutting-edge translational research. Working with the CSTR Institute’s education programs, we provide state-of-the-art training in research methodology for younger investigators and students. Affiliates also develop projects aimed at translating innovations and strategies from specialized fields to significantly strengthen and enhance the methodological foundations of translational research.
This program will
Provide easily-accessible, project-centered expert guidance on research design, epidemiological methods, qualitative research methods, and statistical analysis to all investigators at the CSTR Institute.
